Architect

As an Architect cum Urban Planner at Nagar Nigam, Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, your role involves preparing and developing concept plans, feasibility reports, and detailed urban design proposals. You will undertake site planning and master planning assignments in coordination with municipal and project teams. Your responsibilities include preparing and reviewing CAD drawings and planning layouts, conducting field visits, data collection, and analysis, ensuring compliance with urban development standards, and coordinating with stakeholders for project execution. You will also support the preparation of reports, presentations, and documentation for client submission. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and develop concept plans, feasibility reports, and detailed urban design proposals. - Undertake site planning and master planning assignments in coordination with municipal and project teams. - Prepare and review CAD drawings and planning layouts. - Conduct field visits, data collection, and analysis to support planning proposals. - Ensure designs and plans comply with relevant urban development standards and regulations. - Coordinate with stakeholders, including Nagar Nigam officials and consultants, for project execution. - Support preparation of reports, presentations, and documentation for client submission. Qualifications Required: - Masters in Urban Planning / Housing / Urban Design. - Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture from a recognized institution. Skills Required: - Proficiency in AutoCAD and related design software. - Strong understanding of urban planning principles, zoning, and development control norms. - Excellent communication, presentation, and report-writing skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
