As a Design Coordinator, your role involves overseeing the overall design and coordination of projects and teams. You will collaborate with Design Managers and project teams on conceptual designs, presentations, and production. Here are your key responsibilities: - Lead design efforts and client presentations while supporting client relationships - Work with Design Managers to ensure timely project delivery - Coordinate with consultants and resolve complex design issues with innovative solutions - Mentor junior and intermediate design staff - Produce graphic presentations, 3D renderings, and construction drawings - Oversee design development and construction drawings - Assist in managing client expectations, team communication, and consultant coordination - Contribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programs - Participate in firm marketing, industry events, and project interviews - Collaborate with design talent across the firm to enhance overall work quality - Plan ahead to anticipate project needs and maintain project goals - Execute strong follow-through on agenda items and project issues to achieve a high design level In terms of qualifications, you should possess the following skills: - Motivated self-starter with problem-solving abilities - Proficiency in 2D/3D software such as Revit, AutoCAD, 3D Studio MAX, Sketchup, PhotoShop, and InDesign - Understanding of Bluebeam and knowledge of materials, construction techniques, and building codes - Strong presentation, organizational, and graphic visualization skills - Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously - Maintain existing client relationships and build new ones - Experience with urban, resort, and/or mixed-use hospitality projects - Hold a BArch Degree with a high level of technical competence and understanding of building systems This position requires someone who can effectively collaborate with teams, manage projects efficiently, and communicate design ideas clearly.,
