Architect Draftsperson

Job Title:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Architect Draftsperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical drawing capabilities and a deep understanding of architectural design principles. You will work closely with our architects and project teams to prepare accurate drawings, documentation, and 3D models that support our design and construction goals.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop detailed architectural drawings and construction documents using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software.

* Translate conceptual designs into technical drawings.

* Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants on project requirements.

* Revise and update drawings based on feedback and changes.

* Ensure all drawings comply with local building codes and standards.

* Maintain organised records of drawings and related documentation.

Requirements:

* Degree/Diploma in Architecture, Drafting, or a related field.

* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other drafting/design tools.

* Strong understanding of architectural detailing and construction methods.

* Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.

* Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Knowledge of local codes and permitting processes.

* Experience in [residential/commercial/interior/etc.] projects.

* 3D rendering skills are a plus (e.g., Lumion, V-Ray, Enscape).
