App/Website Tester

As an App/Website Tester at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the high standards of quality, usability, and functionality of our web and mobile applications. Your responsibilities will include: - Performing functional, usability, regression, and performance testing on websites and mobile applications. - Identifying, documenting, and reporting bugs, errors, and usability issues clearly and concisely. - Collaborating with developers, designers, and product managers to understand project requirements and testing objectives. - Creating detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts. - Tracking bug resolution and verifying fixes in a timely manner. - Simulating real-world usage conditions and performing manual testing across multiple devices, browsers, and operating systems. - Maintaining testing documentation and contributing to process improvement for QA best practices. Qualifications required for this role include: - Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in software/app/website testing. - Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. - Experience testing across different browsers, devices, and operating systems. - Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or similar. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Good understanding of SDLC and Agile development methodologies. - Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment. - Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, TestNG). - Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Experience with mobile app testing (iOS and Android).
