As an Apps Support Intermediate Analyst at our company, you will be a developing professional dealing with most problems independently. You will integrate in-depth specialty area knowledge with industry standards and practices, contributing to the objectives of the subfunction/job family. Your role will require analytical thinking, attention to detail, and effective communication skills to ensure the stability and effectiveness of our applications and platforms. - Provide quick resolutions to app issues, driving stability, efficiency, and effectiveness improvements. - Manage Batch Management, End of version Software's and toolsets Upgrades, Automate Manual Tasks, and Platform Build Project Management. - Maintain application systems in daily operations, focusing on stability, quality, and functionality against service level expectations. - Perform start of day checks, continuous monitoring, and regional handover. - Develop and maintain technical support documentation. - Identify ways to maximize the potential of applications used. - Assess risk and impact of production issues, escalating them to business and technology management. - Ensure storage and archiving procedures are functioning correctly. - Act as a liaison between users, internal technology groups, and vendors. - Conduct ongoing capacity planning and expansion to keep pace with platform needs. - Act as Subject Matter Expert to senior stakeholders and other team members. - 7-10 years of experience in an Application Support role. - Experience with Linux Operating systems. - Proficiency in SQL using Oracle and SQL server DB. - Web application support experience, especially with WebSphere and Weblogic environments. - Exposure to Middleware including TIBCO, NDM, MQ, EMS, Kafka, and SFTP. - Experience with monitoring tools like ITRS Geneos, Kibana, AppDynamics, and Splunk. - Experience with scheduling jobs using Autosys. - Familiarity with Scrum methodologies and JIRA. - Good to have experience with cloud-based technologies like OpenShift, DevOps, MongoDB. - Experience with installing, configuring, or supporting business applications. - Knowledge of some programming languages and willingness to learn. - Effective written and verbal communication skills. - Demonstrated analytical skills and issue tracking/reporting abilities. - Proficient in problem Management Tools and technical skills. - Ability to plan, organize workload, and communicate with stakeholders effectively.
