About Perceptyne


Perceptyne is a deep-tech robotics startup building AI-powered semi-humanoid robots for automating dexterous and intelligent tasks on industrial shopfloors. By integrating AI into the automation pipeline, Perceptyne s robots unlock a range of advanced capabilities that were previously considered challenging or impractical empowering customers to achieve more. We work closely with organizations in areas of electronics product assembly, Automotive assembly lines, warehouse operations etc. to help them realize their automation goals. Role Overview

This is an

internship role

for a minimum of

3 months

and a maximum of

6 months

. The candidate will focus on advancing robotic intelligence through cutting-edge 3D reconstruction, simulation, and deep learning. You will gain hands-on experience developing digital twins, integrating VR teleoperation for data synthesis, and training foundation models to enable robust and generalizable manipulation capabilities in humanoid robots.

Responsibilities

Utilize the latest research in 3D reconstruction to create digital twins for simulation and training of dexterous humanoid robots.
Interface VR teleoperation with simulation platforms to synthesize diverse manipulation data.
Train and test foundation models for multitask generalization in robotic control.
Run Real2Sim and Sim2Real pipelines for robust evaluation of manipulation policies.
Fine-tune deep learning models using reinforcement learning.
Design and evaluate foundation policies on customized test cases for robustness and repeatability.

Qualifications

Required Experience

Strong theoretical and practical foundations in Deep Learning and Robotic Imitation Learning.
Proficiency in PyTorch and ability to contribute to a fast-paced development team.
Experience with Isaac Lab and Blender preferred.
Familiarity with ROS2 and C++ is a plus.
Prior exposure to LeRobot projects is a strong advantage.

Education

B.Tech/BE/M.Tech/MS/MEng

students or graduates in

Computer Science, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering

from top institutions.

Skillsets

Must-have:

Python, PyTorch

Good to have:

Isaac Lab, Blender, ROS2, C++, JAX, AWS
