Job Description

You will primarily be responsible for: - Identifying and troubleshooting issues related to on-premise and cloud-based applications and services in a timely manner - Monitoring systems to optimize performance and uptime to meet service levels - Providing documentation and logs to the Governance team for compliance - Taking the lead on critical issues and escalating to relevant teams if necessary - Learning and utilizing good time management skills to complete assigned tasks - Updating and creating new or existing departmental procedures and monitoring for compliance - Assisting with system compliance through existing standards and procedures, identifying gaps, and remediating them promptly - Learning new applications and services quickly and understanding how they can be integrated - Possessing strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Exchange on-premise - Automating tasks through scripting or the use of APIs - Troubleshooting email delivery issues through telnet - Performing basic administration of endpoints in Microsoft Intune - Creating and modifying email routing rules in Proofpoint and Exchange Online - Understanding business and department processes and translating them into Cherwell - Creating, publishing, and maintaining relevant support documentation to facilitate quick incident/service request resolution and enable users to become more self-sufficient - Patching Windows and Linux servers and operating systems - Demonstrating expert-level knowledge of Microsoft licensing models and processes Qualifications required for this position include: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or electronics About the Company: Mouser Electronics, founded in 1964, is a globally authorized distributor of semiconductors and electronic components for over 1,200 industry-leading manufacturer brands.
