Position Overview

detail-oriented Application Tester

Tosca

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and validate

  user stories and acceptance criteria

  for test coverage.
• Design, write, and execute

  manual and automated test cases

  for full-stack web applications.
• Perform a variety of testing types including

  functional, regression, exploratory, and smoke testing

  .

• Automate test scenarios

  using

  Tosca

  and maintain test automation suites.
• Work with development teams to validate frontend UI, backend APIs, and database interactions.
• Leverage

  SonarQube

  to monitor code quality, report issues, and support continuous improvement.
• Identify and document bugs, track them to resolution, and ensure proper retesting.
• Participate in

  Agile ceremonies

  such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts for clarity and completeness of requirements.
• Contribute to

  QA process improvements

  , best practices, and testing documentation.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience testing

  React. js and Node. js

  based applications integrated with

  SQL databases

  .
• Strong proficiency with

  Tosca

  for test automation and test case management.
• Hands-on experience using

  SonarQube

  for code quality and static analysis.
• Understanding of

  RESTful APIs

  , backend validation, and frontend behavior.
• Excellent knowledge of

  manual testing principles

  , strategies, and execution techniques.
• Familiarity with

  defect tracking

  and

  test management tools

  such as

  JIRA

  ,

  TestRail

  , or similar.
• Ability to create reusable, modular test scripts and maintain automation frameworks.
• Analytical mindset with excellent

  problem-solving

  and

  communication

  skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in

  Computer Science

  ,

  Information Technology

  , or a related field.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
• Experience working in

  Agile/Scrum

  development environments.
• Familiarity with other automation tools or scripting frameworks is advantageous.
• Exposure to

  CI/CD pipelines

  and quality gate enforcement.
