About The Role

Project Role :Application Tech Support Practitioner

Project Role Description :Act as the ongoing interface between the client and the system or application. Dedicated to quality, using exceptional communication skills to keep our world class systems running. Can accurately define a client issue and can interpret and design a resolution based on deep product knowledge.
Must have skills :Ansible on Microsoft Azure

Good to have skills :DevOps

Educational Qualification :15 years full time education
Technical Skill:

In-depth knowledge of Ansible Automation Platform and related components.

Knowledge of Ansible playbook design and development.

Good Understanding on ansible automation platform integration with other services i.e. Azure and Amazon Cloud integration, enterprise security tools, Virtualization platform (Vcenter).

Should have experience in maintaining AAP global credentials, SSL Certificate with Industry best practice and enterprise security standards.

Expertise in managing the Automation platform component. Maintenance of the platform by regular upgrades and updates. Ensure platform is running with Enterprise security compliance. Import and upgrade latest Ansible modules and configure as standard.

Candidate should have skill in Ansible platform monitoring and detect the anomaly and apply fix accordingly.

Good knowledge in developing ansible automation use cases by creating playbook.

Implement automation scripts for backend processes where feasible, such as failover procedures and backup restorations.

Advocate for automation-first culture, ensuring that all repeatable tasks are codified and version-controlled.

Promote GitOps principles for managing infrastructure and operational workflows.

Drive adoption of policy-as-code for compliance and governance.

Continuously explore opportunities to integrate CI/CD pipelines for automation content delivery.ITIL and Operation Skill:

Candidate should have good knowledge of ITIL process. Hands on experience on all service now modules I.e. Incident management, Request management and Change management module, Knowledge management etc.

Working experience with Agile delivery practice and knowledge in ADO. Actively participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and regular stand-ups.

Collaborate with stakeholders and automation adoption team to prioritize features and enhancements to maximize the platform's value.

Service reporting – excellent on soft skill and Presentation skill to generate the daily, weekly, monthly reports for stakeholders.Roles and responsibilities:

Monitoring, administration, and management of Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) components with a strong emphasis on automation-first principles.

Immediate escalation of critical issues to SME and vendors following the incident management process.

Regular maintenance of AAP inventory to ensure all components are accounted for and under control (e.g., dynamic inventory that stays up to date with all Azure and AWS subscriptions, V-centers, and other assets).

Maintaining AAP global credentials, SSL certificates, and all relevant objects.

Scheduled maintenance, including OS and AAP component upgrades and patching, following recommendations from Red Hat to ensure system reliability and security.

Continuous evaluation of the AAP environment to recommend and document improvements for enhanced automation capabilities.

Assistance with Business Continuity Plan (BCP) testing and execution to ensure disaster recovery readiness.

Enhanced monitoring of the AAP environment to pre-emptively identify and address potential issues, using automated health checks and self-healing mechanisms.

Coordination of incident escalation processes with Red Hat Customer Support to ensure timely resolution of complex issues.

Contribution to AAP project development work, including recommending and implementing improvements to the AAP dynamic inventory.

Gather automation requirement as per business need and develop required playbook as per enterprise standard.

Participation in change management and operational review meetings to align with Enterprise strategic objectives and operational requirements.

Engagement in root cause analysis of incidents to prevent recurrence and improve system stability, documenting lessons learned as code-based remediation playbooks.
Additional Information:

The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Ansible.

This position is based at our Hyderabad office.

A 15 years full time education is required.
