15 years full time educationSummary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. Your typical day involves troubleshooting and resolving software-related issues to ensure seamless operations. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Proactively identify and resolve software issues. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address system problems. - Develop and implement software solutions to enhance system performance. - Conduct regular system audits to ensure data integrity and security. - Provide technical support and guidance to end-users. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Cobol Mainframe. - Strong understanding of software debugging and troubleshooting techniques. - Experience in working with relational databases. - Knowledge of scripting languages for automation. - Hands-on experience in system monitoring and performance optimization.
