Application Support Engineer

Project Role : Application Support Engineer Project Role Description : Act as software detectives, provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. Must have skills : MongoDB Administration Good to have skills : Cloud Infrastructure Minimum 5 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Key Responsibilities:A:Need to provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of database systems within a defined operating model and processes B :Should work on all support activities including monitoring of databases and incident and monitoring ticketsC:Need to perform basic database functions like DB restarts, backups, user management, restore, patching, troubleshooting, basic performing management.D:Provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance Technical Experience:1. Database Administration and Monitoring: MongoDB database administration, including health checks, replica set and sharding setup, and use of various monitoring tools.2. Backup, Recovery, and Migration: Expertise in backup and recovery methods, database migrations, upgrades, and patching.3. Performance and Capacity Management: Proficient in database profiling, performance tuning, capacity management, and server performance recommendations.4. High Availability and Disaster Recovery: High availability solutions, disaster recovery configurations, root cause analysis, and problem, change, and capacity management.5. Administrative Tasks and Tool Usage: Database installation and configuration, administrative tasks, export/import of data, use of MongoDB tools (including MMS), and willingness to work in a 24x7 support environment. Professional Attributes :A:Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment B:Work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment C:Should be able to perform initial level of trouble shootings.
