Project Role :Application Support Engineer

Project Role Description :Act as software detectives, provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.
Must have skills :Network Infrastructures

Good to have skills :Enterprise Network Operations

IOC L2 Network Engineer provides ongoing technical support and maintenance across the Network infrastructure Production and other environments.Key Responsibilities:

Incident Management:The Level-2 IOC is responsible for monitoring the network infrastructure, identifying, and diagnosing network, system or application incidents or problems, and taking necessary actions to resolve them. This may include coordinating with other teams, vendors, and service providers to ensure that the network is functioning optimally.

Troubleshooting:When network issues arise, the Level-2 IOC is responsible for troubleshooting and triaging them. They must have in-depth knowledge of the network infrastructure; systems administration and the equipment used to detect and resolve issues quickly.

Network Performance Monitoring:The Level-2 IOC is responsible for monitoring network performance, analyzing traffic patterns, system resource utilization and capacity planning and identifying any bottlenecks or performance issues that need to be addressed.

Network Configuration:The Level-2 IOC is responsible for configuring and maintaining network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.

Hands-on experience in troubleshooting & administration of Firewalls Cisco Multi Context ASA-5585X , Juniper SRX firewalls

Hands-on experience in troubleshooting & administration Cisco switches 6513 / Nexus 7K/5K

Firewall systems (Checkpoint, Cisco, NetScreen), VPN Technologies (IPSec, SSL, , Cisco)

Authentication, authorization, encryption mechanisms (LDAP, RADIUS, TACACS+, PKI, SSL, SSH)

Network monitoring, Remote administration, configuration, trouble shooting and deployments.

Experience with TCP/IP and other protocols IPX, UDP, ICMP, IPSec, GRE, SSH, SMTP, HTTP, FTP

Excellent documentation skillsSkills Required:Expert levels skills in below Network technologies

Cisco Routes /Switches/Firewalls 6513/Meraki / ASA-5585X / WLC 9800/ Nexus 5k & 7k

Cisco ISE (3.x)/Cisco DNAC (2.3.x)

Cisco/Aruba Wireless

Juniper SRX firewalls

Checkpoint firewall systems

Aruba Switches/Access Points

Palo Alto Networks - Panorama and Pan-OS 10.x

Citrix NetScaler / F5 Load balancers

VPN, IPSec & SSL Technologies

Networking protocols IPX, UDP, ICMP, IPSec, GRE, SSH, SMTP, HTTP & FTPExperience:5 - 8 YearsQualificationAny Graduate
