Application Specialist

As an Application Specialist at GD NASH in Pune, you will be accountable for all HOFFMAN & LAMSON Application & project engineering activities in India & the Middle East region, focusing on Multistage Centrifugal Blowers and High Speed Turbo Blowers (HST). Your responsibilities will include handling segment-related inquiries, developing technical solutions based on client specifications and engineering standards, preparing detailed technical and commercial offers, and leading a team of Project Engineers & Designers for order execution. You will be responsible for managing post-order activities such as PID preparation, data sheet preparation, layout preparation, and ensuring customer approval. Additionally, you will attend Hazop/SIL studies and 3D modeling reviews during project execution, implement best engineering practices, and monitor construction or installation activities. Furthermore, you will monitor market trends, analyze competitor activities, and provide feedback to the product development center. Your essential functions will involve pre-order activities such as customer visits, detailed study of client specifications, preparation of technical offers and costing sheets, and coordination with internal teams. Post-order activities will include interpreting order requirements, coordinating assignments, reviewing customer PO amendments, and overseeing the production process to ensure project timelines are met. This position requires experience in Multistage Centrifugal Blower and High-Speed Turbo Blower products, as well as project management skills to interface with various departments and develop strong customer relationships. Effective communication skills are essential for success in this role.
