Application Specialist

As an Application Specialist at NASH Pune, a part of Ingersoll Rand's engineered solutions division and PFT, you will play a crucial role in handling all HOFFMAN & LAMSON Application and project engineering activities for India & Middle East region, focusing on Multistage Centrifugal Blowers and High-Speed Turbo Blowers (HST). Your responsibilities will include managing segment-related inquiries, developing technical solutions based on client/project specifications and engineering standards, preparing detailed technical and commercial offers, leading a team of Project Engineers & Designers, and ensuring technical deliveries meet engineering standards. You will also be responsible for post-order activities such as PID/PFD preparation, data sheet preparation, layout preparation, and obtaining customer approvals. Additionally, you will attend Hazop/SIL studies, review 3D modeling, implement best engineering practices, monitor construction/installation activities, analyze competitor activities, prepare business cases for special projects, and provide feedback to the product development center. Your essential functions will involve pre-order activities like customer visits, detailed study of client specifications, preparation of technical offers, costing sheets, and attending techno-commercial meetings. Post-order activities will include interpreting order requirements, coordinating assignments, establishing accountabilities, revising assembly drawings, preparing bills of material, monitoring project progress, resolving issues, overseeing production processes, coordinating installation, and maintaining engineering documents. To excel in this role, you should have experience in Multistage Centrifugal Blower and High-Speed Turbo Blower products, project management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
