Application Server Support Engineer

As an Application Server Support Engineer, your role will involve assisting in installing, configuring, and maintaining middleware servers such as JBoss and Wildfly. You will be responsible for integrating middleware with databases and web servers. Additionally, you will monitor middleware environments for performance and availability, troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to middleware environments, and ensure effective communication with technical and non-technical teams. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining middleware servers (e.g. JBoss, Wildfly). - Integrate middleware with databases and web servers. - Monitor middleware environments for performance and availability. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to middleware environments. - Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams to convey complex concepts. - Understand and prioritize client requirements for delivering effective solutions. **Qualifications Required:** - Basic Network Knowledge. - Knowledge of operating systems (Linux preferred). - VMware or OVM basic knowledge. - Basic Knowledge of SSL/TLS configuration and certificate management. - Adaptability to dynamic environments and willingness to quickly learn new tools and technologies. Please note that the job type for this role is full-time with day shift work days from Monday to Friday and weekend availability may be required. The preferred experience for this position is a minimum of 1 year as an Application Server Support Engineer. The work location is in person.
