Job Description

The ideal candidate is a hybrid of a Product Owner and a Growth Marketer. You must have deep expertise in the AARRR funnel (Acquisition, Activation, Retention, Referral, Revenue), a strong eye for UI/UX, and the technical understanding to manage LMS and Video Streaming architectures.

Responsibilities

  • Scale Strategy: Develop and execute the roadmap to scale the app's user base significantly within the first 12-18 months.
  • Acquisition: Manage organic (ASO) and paid acquisition channels to drive high-quality installs with optimised CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost).
  • Funnel Optimisation: Oversee the end-to-end user journey, ensuring smooth onboarding to minimise drop-offs at the registration stage.
  • Revenue Models: Design and implement robust monetisation strategies, including Freemium to Premium conversion, Subscription models (Monthly/Annual), and Micro-transactions (pay-per-test, pay-per-chapter).
  • Conversion Optimisation: Analyse user behaviour to trigger timely paywalls and upsell opportunities without hindering user experience.
  • Engagement Mechanics: Implement and refine gamification layers, including Badges, Leaderboards, Streaks, and Rewards, to drive Daily Active Users (DAU).
  • LMS & Content Delivery: Manage the integration and performance of the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring seamless delivery of Video Streaming, E-books, and Interactive Content.
  • Test Engines: Oversee the functionality of adaptive test engines, ensuring valid analytics and performance feedback for students.
  • User Experience: Own the UI/UX standards. Work closely with designers to ensure the app is intuitive, student-friendly, and visually appealing.
  • Creative Oversight: Lead the creative strategy for app assets, thumbnails, and marketing creatives to ensure high Click-Through Rates (CTR).

Requirements

  • EdTech Experience: Proven experience in scaling a B2C mobile application, preferably in the EdTech, Gaming, or Content Streaming space.
  • The Funnel Expert: Mastery of App Acquisition, Engagement, Conversion, and Retention metrics.
  • Tech Savvy: Functional understanding of LMS architecture, Video Streaming protocols (HLS/DASH), and Assessment engines.
  • Data-Driven: Proficiency with analytics tools (Firebase, Mixpanel, CleverTap, AppsFlyer) to make data-backed product decisions.
  • Monetisation Master: Experience experimenting with pricing psychology and subscription tiers.
  • Design Eye: Strong ability to critique and guide UI/UX designs and creative assets.
