Your typical day will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to gather requirements, overseeing the development process, and ensuring that the applications meet the specified needs and quality standards. You will also engage in problem-solving discussions and provide guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and efficiency. The selected resource must also be ready to be cross-trained in COBOL Mainframe as part of the role requirements. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities. - Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth. - Be open to cross-training in COBOL Mainframe to expand technical expertise. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Java Standard Edition. - Cross-training Requirement: Resource must be ready to be cross-trained in COBOL Mainframe. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Spring Framework, Hibernate, and RESTful web services. - Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles. - Experience in application design patterns and best practices. - Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Java Standard Edition. - This position is based at our Gurugram office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
