About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Application Engineer Scan to BIM with a strong civil engineering background to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality product demonstrations, Proof of Concepts (POC), project implementations, and technical sessions including seminars and webinars focused on Scan to BIM workflows. The candidate should possess hands-on experience with reality capture, BIM tools, and construction site processes. Key Responsibilities: Deliver product demonstrations of Scan to BIM software and workflows to customers, prospects, and internal teams. Execute Proof of Concepts (POCs) , pilot projects, and Scan to BIM project deliveries . Conduct seminars, webinars, and training sessions for internal and external stakeholders. Support pre-sales and post-sales activities including technical discussions, requirement gathering, and client enablement. Collaborate with sales, product, and technical teams to provide solutions based on customer needs . Provide technical expertise in 3D laser scanning, point cloud processing, and BIM model creation. Create and present technical documentation, case studies , and client success stories . Stay updated with the latest Scan to BIM trends, software, and best practices . Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (mandatory); Master’s degree preferred. 3–7 years of experience in civil engineering, construction, or BIM industry. On-site project experience with exposure to surveying, laser scanning, and model coordination . Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with tools such as: ReCap , Navisworks , Revit , AutoCAD FARO Scene , Leica Cyclone , Trimble RealWorks , or equivalent Point cloud processing software (CloudCompare, 3DReshaper, etc.) Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or similar CDEs is a plus. Experience with scan data QA/QC , LOD management, and IFC deliverables Soft Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to translate technical content into client-specific business value. Strong problem-solving mindset and client orientation. Willingness to travel for client meetings, seminars, or on-site deployments.
