Application Engineer

As a candidate for the position, you will be responsible for operating Oracle ERP and custom software platforms known for their extensive volume and complexity. Your role will involve executing technical and functional tasks collaboratively with your team, contributing to architectural decisions, feature innovation, program optimization, and developing scalable solutions within Oracle EBS R12 and other ERP applications. The team culture emphasizes innovation, ownership, technical architecture, and efficient project delivery. - Designing, building, and extending applications within Oracle e-business suite and open-source technologies. - Developing solutions and supporting multiple applications. - Creating technical specifications and configuring standard applications. - Modifying and developing forms and reports. - Designing interfaces and providing end-user support across multiple geographies. - Leading Junior Developers and handling critical production issues. - Participating in on-call support beyond regular business hours. - Hold a Master's degree or its foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or a related field, with a minimum of two years of experience in roles such as Systems Analyst, Software Engineer, Developer, or a related occupation. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in the mentioned fields, coupled with at least five years of relevant experience, can be considered equivalent to the Master's degree requirement, with an additional two years of experience. - At least one year of experience in developing solutions for Oracle's e-business suite using Oracle's development tools like SQL, PLSQL, reports, forms, BI publisher, Workflow Build, and JDeveloper. - Robust functional understanding of Oracle e-Business suite in a multi-organization and multi-set of books environment. - Keen interest in working in a dynamic environment, ability to work independently with limited supervision. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, excellent organizational abilities. - Proficiency in root cause analysis and complex problem-solving, expertise in SQL and PLSQL best practices. - Analytical capabilities to translate business requirements into technical specifications for highly scalable solutions. - Skills in prioritizing tasks, scoping large projects, and negotiating timelines effectively.,
