Application Development Senior Manager - Vice President

Role Overview: You will be responsible for providing technical engineering leadership for multiple large scale/complex global software solutions. Your role will involve understanding object-oriented analysis and design, design patterns, high availability, and concurrent programming. You should have a strong understanding of Agile projects and SAFe Agile ceremonies, along with excellent software development skills. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the development team in building enterprise transaction-based systems with a focus on recovery, stability, reliability, scalability, and performance - Design and develop REST-based web services using Spring Boot - Architect complex applications in a microservices platform - Integrate web services and implement service registry and service discovery tools - Implement Test Driven Development using tools like Junit and Mockito - Ensure application security and performance tuning of large technical solutions - Work on multithreaded applications and troubleshoot complex issues - Collaborate with stakeholders to drive discussions between Business, Solutions, Operations, and Application Teams - Develop teams of permanent employees and vendors, ranging from 5 to 20 developers in size - Support stakeholders across different time zones, including US, EMEA, and ASPAC regions - Communicate effectively with technical management teams and possess strong leadership, interpersonal, and team-building skills Qualifications Required: - BE/ME/MS/MCA degree holder - Minimum of 12-16 years of development experience - Strong programming skills in AI tools such as Claude.ai, Gemini.ai, Devin.ai, Co-Pilot, DiffBlue, Java, and experience with test automation frameworks - Proficiency in automation using Selenium, Java, Cucumber, REST Assured, and API automation - Experience with testing tools like Postman, Rest Assured, and MongoDB - Knowledge of version control systems like GIT and agile development methodologies - Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Openshift Cluster, and AWS deployment - Strong understanding of J2EE, Spring framework, Hibernate, JPA, and App Server - Experience in building multithreaded applications, JMS/MQ applications, and performance tuning - Familiarity with UI/web programming languages like JavaScript, JSP, Angular JS, and web security frameworks - Understanding of internetworking concepts, firewall, communication protocols - Knowledge of containerization, service registry, service discovery tools, and log visualization (Note: Additional details of the company were not provided in the job description),
