Must have skills : Workday Core HCM Good to have skills : NA Minimum 5 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : Core HCM certification is a must Summary :As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will be responsible for developing and implementing software solutions to enhance the functionality and performance of Workday Core HCM. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing business requirements, designing and coding applications, and ensuring the quality and integrity of the software. Roles & Responsibilities: Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. Responsible for team decisions. Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. Design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Develop and implement software solutions to enhance the functionality and performance of Workday Core HCM. Ensure the quality and integrity of the software through rigorous testing and debugging. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously enhance skills and knowledge. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving application defects and issues. Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers. Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies. Participate in project planning and estimation activities. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for new features and enhancements. Document technical specifications, system configurations, and code changes. Ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices. Collaborate with the testing team to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Support the deployment and maintenance of applications in production environments. Professional & Technical Skills: Must To Have Skills:Proficiency in Workday Core HCM. Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies. Experience in designing and developing applications using Workday Studio and Workday Report Writer. Knowledge of Workday integration tools and technologies, such as EIB, Core Connectors, and Cloud Connect. Experience in troubleshooting and resolving application defects and issues. Good To Have Skills:Experience with Workday security configuration and role-based permissions. Familiarity with Workday business processes and data models. Experience in developing custom reports and dashboards in Workday. Knowledge of Workday APIs and web services. Understanding of HR and payroll processes and regulations. Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Additional Information: The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Workday Core HCM. This position is based at our Bengaluru office. A Core HCM certification is a must. Qualifications Core HCM certification is a must
