Job Description

As an Application Architect at IBM, you would be responsible for: Designing, developing, and maintaining SAP applications (Application Development and Maintenance), ensuring alignment with business requirements and IT strategies Requires a deep understanding of SAP technology, industry trends, and business processes. Works closely with stakeholders to identify business needs, design solutions, and ensure successful implementation of SAP applications. Required education Bachelor's Degree Preferred education Bachelor's Degree Required technical and professional expertise Lead the support of complex SAP solution (ECC and S4/HANA), working closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical specifications. Actively participate in Change Review process; support business team for categorisation and prioritisation Analyse and optimize existing SAP systems to improve performance, scalability, and security. Implement and configure SAP modules, including but not limited to Finance, Supply Chain Management, Customer Relationship Management, Human Capital Management, and others. Design and develop technical plan for SAP ECC to S4/HANA migration or new country roll-outs Perform phase gate review of development/enhancement work Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, user manuals, and training materials. Stay abreast of the latest SAP technologies and industry best practices. Collaborate with other IT professionals, including developers, system administrators, and database administrators, to ensure seamless integration of SAP solutions. Preferred technical and professional experience Mentor and train junior team members on SAP technologies and best practices. Participate in project planning and execution, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget. Client facing experience Experience of working with Indian clients.
