Application Architect - PI/PO

As an Application Architect focusing on SAP integrations, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing our landscape to meet business goals to expand our business.  You will assist with defining, mapping, documenting and implementing integrations with our external customers/vendors, in alignment with industry standards.  You will work with a global team delivering robust solutions to meet the evolving needs of our dynamic organization.  The ideal candidate will have significant experience with SAP Process Orchestrator v7.5 and BTP.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with functional teams and user community to investigate gaps between business needs and current system functionality
• Works closely with the development teams in the design and development phases of the overall end-to-end integration solutions between SAP and non-SAP systems
• Develop and configure integration scenarios using SAP PO (PI/PO)
• Create and maintain mappings (Graphical, Java, XSLT) and adapters (IDoc, RFC, SOAP, REST, JDBC, File, etc.)
• Assist with technical system documentation
• Create and execute integration test plans/scripts/cases based on technical integration requirements defined in the integration solution documentation
• Build and maintain a good working relationship with key business stakeholders of IT solutions implemented
• Ensure compliance with integration standards and best practices
• Provide timely resolution for integration failures and performance bottlenecks
• May be required to direct, schedule, motivate and coordinate the activities of IT, user and vendor personnel 
• Actively participate or mentor junior Analysts in troubleshooting of integration issues
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong experience in SAP PO (Process Orchestration)
• Experience with SAP BTP and SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI)
• Proficiency in XML, XSD, WSDL, and web services.
• Knowledge of integration protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SFTP, SOAP, REST)
• Familiarity with Java, ABAP proxies, and XSLT mappings
• Experience with ABAP development
• Knowledge/Experience with Unix scripting a plus
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Proven ability to be adaptable, capable, self-motivated, and confident
• Excellent facilitation and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills to include internal and external communication & documentation

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field required
• 7+ years of experience in SAP
