Job Summary

The Appium Tester will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of mobile applications through comprehensive testing strategies. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in mobile app testing and automation frameworks.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test scripts using Appium and Java.
• Conduct thorough testing of mobile applications to identify bugs and performance issues.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand application features and requirements.
• Utilize Playwright for cross-browser testing and ensure compatibility across different devices.
• Document test cases, test results, and defects in a clear and concise manner.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 3-6 years of experience in mobile app testing, with a focus on automation.
• Proficiency in Appium and Java.
• Experience with Playwright or similar testing frameworks.
• Strong understanding of mobile application development and testing lifecycle.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
