Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with designers to interpret design sketches and specifications, clarifying any ambiguity before drafting patterns.
• Develop patterns for Kids, Womens, Mens division for top and bottom wears.
• Create initial patterns either manually (draping on muslin) or digitally, using CAD software (e.g., Gerber, Lectra, Optitex, Browzwear, CLO).
• Conduct fittings on mannequins or live models; adjust patterns based on feedback to address garment fit, drape, and aesthetics.
• Grade patterns to create a full size range while maintaining proportions and design integrity.
• Digitize and archive final patterns; maintain accurate documentation of revisions, style codes, and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with Factory team, sampling team to troubleshoot construction challenges and optimize fabric usage or production efficiency.
  

Requirements

• Associate / Diploma / Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Fashion Design, Garment Technology, Fashion Technology, Textile technology or strong experience from apparel field( predominantly Natural Knits/Synthetic Knits)
• Proficiency in CAD pattern‑making tools (Gerber Accumark, Lectra, Optitex, Browzwear, CLO), along with manual draping/drafting skills.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction methods, fabric behavior, pattern grading, and Indian and Asian sizing systems.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to liaise with designers, sample tailors, and production teams.
• Knowledge of fit enhancement techniques across materials—knits, wovens, stretch fabrics
