You have a great opportunity to join our team as an Apparel Export Merchandiser. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the export merchandising process from order placement to shipment, ensuring timely delivery and quality compliance. Your primary tasks will include acting as the main point of contact between buyers and the company, understanding buyer requirements, coordinating order processing, monitoring production schedules, maintaining documentation, and ensuring adherence to quality standards and compliance norms. You will work closely with various teams including buyers, production, sourcing, quality control, and logistics to ensure a smooth execution of shipments and customs clearance. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion Merchandising, International Business, or a related field, along with at least 2 years of experience in apparel export merchandising. You should have a strong understanding of garment production processes, export documentation, and international trade. Excellent communication, negotiation, and coordination skills are essential, along with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) is required, and experience with ERP systems is a plus. Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset will be key to success in this role. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with compliance standards such as BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, and experience working with international buyers or brands like Walmart, H&M, Zara, etc. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including commuter assistance, paid sick time, paid time off, and Provident Fund. The work schedule is during the day shift, and morning shift with a yearly bonus.
