Your expertise in Java and testing tools will be critical to delivering high-quality software products. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for RESTful and SOAP APIs using Java-based frameworks (e.g., RestAssured, TestNG, JUnit). Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing of APIs. Analyze API specifications and collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand requirements. Use tools like Postman, SoapUI, or Swagger for manual testing and validation. Create test data, write test cases, and maintain test documentation. Identify, document, and track bugs in collaboration with development teams. Participate in code reviews, and contribute to continuous improvement of the QA process. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions. Required Skills and Qualifications:Strong experience in Java programming and test automation frameworks. Proficiency in REST API testing using RestAssured or similar tools. Good understanding of HTTP, JSON, XML, and API security mechanisms (OAuth, tokens). Experience with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail). Familiarity with version control systems (Git). Solid understanding of software testing lifecycle (STLC) and Agile methodologies. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Postman scripts, SoapUI, or Karate DSL.
