Job Description

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain API Management solutions that meet the needs of Bank's external and internal applications and services.
Implement best practices for API security controls, performance, governance and scalability.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to API Gateway configuration and performance.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Liaise with internal teams like networking, infra and cloud on Gateway deployments
Drive initiatives involving adoptions and security rollouts
Good experience on SDLC and DevOps Platforms for version control, pipelines and deployments
Ideally someone with Kong API Gateway experience that is mandate

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as an API Engineer or similar role.
Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java.
Experience with RESTful and/or GraphQL API design and development.
Familiarity with API security standards and best practices (e.g., OAuth, JWT).
Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
