Job Description

Architect and implement scalable automation solutions using Ansible and Ansible Automation Platform (AAP)
Migrate legacy Ansible Tower workloads to AAP and refactor Ansible 2.9 code to current standards
Develop and maintain playbooks, roles, and collections for configuration management and deployment
Integrate Ansible with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) and ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA)
Establish automation governance, standards, and best practices across teams
Troubleshoot performance, security, and compliance issues in automation workflows
Mentor junior engineers and conduct training sessions on Ansible usage and strategy
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align automation with business goals
Delivered governance models, documentation standards, and reusable roles for cross-team adoption
Led hands-on workshops and mentoring initiatives to build automation maturity across teams

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strategic thinker with strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Experienced in security and compliance-driven automation for regulated industries
Passionate advocate for simplification and operational excellence through
8 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure, DevOps, or automation engineering
Expert proficiency Ansible, YAML, Jinja2 Python, Bash Git, Linux/Unix Docker, Kubernetes Azure AWS, GCP
Red Hat Ansible Certified (preferred)
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and version control (Git)
Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
Deep understanding of Linux/Unix systems and networking concepts
