Android Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Implement clean code architecture with MVVM/MVI for scalable and maintainable codebases.
• Integrate and manage data with Firebase Firestore, Cloud Functions, and Authentication.
• Work collaboratively with backend teams to define, consume, and optimize REST APIs.
• Create intuitive and engaging UI/UX using Compose components and Material Design guidelines.
• Handle data visualization using chart/graph libraries (e.g., MPAndroidChart, Compose Charts).
• Ensure app reliability through performance optimization, crash handling, and offline-first approaches.
• Write clean, testable code with strong unit test coverage and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with product, design, and QA teams across the development lifecycle.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Android application development.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and modern Android development tools.
• Expertise in clean architecture, MVVM, Coroutines, and Flow.
• Deep understanding of Firebase components such as:
• Firestore (data modeling, real-time updates)
• Cloud Functions
• Firebase Authentication, Storage, and Messaging (preferred)
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and dependency injection frameworks (Hilt/Koin/Dagger).
• Strong knowledge of app lifecycle management, state handling, and offline data caching.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Jetpack Compose Multiplatform or other cross-platform frameworks.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Bitrise, etc.).
• Exposure to AgriTech applications, IoT integrations, or hardware-driven mobile solutions.
• Prior experience with Firestore-based architectures or multi-store Compose setups.
