Android Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain robust Android applications using Kotlin.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend developers to define and implement features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
• Integrate apps with RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs.
• Good understanding of JSON.
• Optimize applications for performance, responsiveness, and battery efficiency.
• Implement modern Android architectures such as MVVM, MVI, or Clean Architecture.
• Manage app releases, including testing, debugging, and deployment to Google Play Store.
• Stay updated with the latest Android development tools, frameworks, and libraries.

• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning sessions.

Core Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in Java and Kotlin programming languages.
• Strong understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack Components (Room, ViewModel, LiveData, Navigation).
• Solid grasp of asynchronous programming, Coroutines, and multithreading.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, Retrofit, Gson/Moshi, and data caching mechanisms.
• Proficient in Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Familiarity with Material Design guidelines and responsive UI principles.
• Hands-on experience with Firebase (Analytics, Cloud Messaging, Remote Config, Crashlytics).
• Deep understanding of the mobile app lifecycle from concept to production and maintenance.
