Android Developer Intern

About the Role:-

We are looking for a motivated Android Developer Intern to join our team. This internship is a great opportunity to gain hands‑on experience building mobile applications, learn best practices, and contribute to real projects from day one.

Key Responsibilities :-

• Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining Android mobile applications using Java and/or Kotlin
• Implement UI/UX designs into Android app screens
• Integrate RESTful APIs and backend services into mobile applications
• Debug, test, and optimize apps to ensure smooth performance, responsiveness, and minimal bugs
• Write clean, well‑structured, and maintainable code
• Participate in code reviews and follow good software development practices (version control, documentation, etc.)
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers as part of the team
• Learn Android architecture patterns (MVVM, MVP, etc.), working with Android SDK, Android Studio, Jetpack components etc.
• Maintain app compatibility across different Android versions and device types

Required Qualifications:-

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field
• Basic knowledge of programming with Java and/or Kotlin
• Familiarity with Android development environment: Android Studio, Android SDK
• Understanding of core Android components and lifecycle (Activities, Fragments, etc.)
• Exposure to REST APIs, JSON, and how to integrate remote data into apps
• Good problem solving and debugging skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and adapt
