The SDK will require integrating C/C++ biometric libraries into Android and iOS mobile SDKs using JNI and Objective-C bridging. We are seeking an experienced JNI/NDK Developer who can deliver robust native modules for fingerprint image processing and matching that integrate seamlessly with our React Native and native Android/iOS SDKs.

Key Responsibilities:

● Integrate C/C++ biometric libraries (e.g., NBIS – WSQ, ISO, Bozorth, Mindtct) into Android and iOS SDKs.

● Write and maintain JNI wrappers for Android to expose native fingerprint functions to Kotlin/Java

. ● Implement Objective-C bridging or Swift interoperability for iOS native integration.

● Build optimized, portable native modules supporting offline fingerprint matching.

● Collaborate closely with Android/iOS SDK developers and image processing engineers.

● Ensure low memory footprint, stability, and cross-device compatibility.

● Deliver well-documented native code with clear integration instructions.

Must-Have Skills

● 3+ years of experience in C/C++ programming.

● Strong experience with JNI (Java Native Interface) for Android.

● Familiarity with the NDK toolchain, cmake, ndk-build, and .so packaging.

● Experience creating JNI bridges to expose native methods to Kotlin/Java.

● Objective-C bridging or Swift interoperability experience for iOS.

● Prior experience working with biometric or image processing libraries (NBIS preferred).

● Good understanding of memory management, threading, and cross-compilation.

Bonus Skills

● Familiarity with NFIQ, WSQ compression, or Bozorth matching.

● Experience building secure encrypted modules (e.g., AES-256).

● Understanding of fingerprint capture pipelines or camera-based biometrics.

● Familiarity with React Native bridge creation.
