Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Android Developer to join our growing mobile development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Android development fundamentals, a good grasp of design patterns, and hands-on experience in building and maintaining scalable Android applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain advanced Android applications using Android SDK.

Work with RESTful APIs to integrate Android applications with backend services.

Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.

Work on Android UI/UX design principles to create intuitive and responsive interfaces.

Manage offline data storage using SQLite and handle background tasks with effective threading techniques.

Integrate cloud messaging and push notification services into the application.

Use code versioning tools (e.g., SVN or Git) to manage codebase effectively.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Participate in code reviews, testing, and bug fixing.

Apply best practices in design patterns such as MVP, MVC, and MVVM.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different Android versions, and device screen size compatibility.

Proficient in Java with solid understanding of OOP concepts.

Good experience in using SQLite for local storage.

Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries integration.

Good understanding of UI/UX principles and Android material design guidelines.

Hands-on experience in performance tuning and threading.

Familiarity with push notification services and cloud messaging (e.g., Firebase).

Proficient in using version control tools like SVN (Git knowledge is a plus).

Experience with continuous integration and agile development processes.

Understanding of popular architecture patterns such as MVP, MVC, and MVVM.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

Knowledge of Kotlin and hybrid mobile development frameworks.

Experience working with Firebase and analytics.

Familiarity with dependency injection and modular code design.
