Android Application Developer

We are seeking a passionate Android Developer proficient in Kotlin to join our mobile development team. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-quality Android applications that deliver a seamless user experience. You’ll collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to develop scalable, reliable, and performant mobile solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin and Android SDK
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Identify and fix bugs, performance bottlenecks, and other issues
• Maintain code quality through code reviews, unit tests, and continuous integration
• Stay up to date with the latest Android development trends, tools, and frameworks
• Integrate third-party APIs and work with RESTful web services
• Contribute to improving development processes and team collaboration

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 1+ years of professional Android app development experience
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and solid understanding of Android SDK
• Experience with Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, and ViewModel architecture
• Familiarity with MVVM/MVP/MVI patterns
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with JSON
• Knowledge of Git version control and CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of Android UI/UX design principles

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Firebase, Room Database, or Retrofit
• Familiarity with Dependency Injection (Dagger/Hilt/Koin)
• Knowledge of Unit Testing and UI Testing (JUnit, Espresso)
• Experience publishing apps to the Google Play Store
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development processes
• Familiarity with modular app architectures

Pay: ₹11,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
