Analyst/Associate - Investment Banking

As an Investment Banking Analyst at our decade-old distinguished investment bank and financial services company headquartered in Mumbai, you will play a crucial role in various financial services such as fundraising, private equity, debt syndication, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and handling special situations. We are seeking passionate professionals with an entrepreneurial mindset, who are detail-oriented and capable of working in a fast-paced environment under tight timelines. You will work with businesses across different stages of evolution, assisting them in reaching the next level and beyond. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive research and analysis on industry trends, corporate financials, and potential investment prospects in diverse sectors. - Identify opportunities through research on multiple sectors, VC/PEs portfolio companies, and participation in business development activities. - Collaborate with senior team members to create transaction-related documents such as financial models, information memorandum, and due diligence materials. - Assist in managing the deal process by coordinating with internal and external parties. - Prepare and maintain industry and thematic reports. Qualification & Experience: - MBA finance/MS Finance/CA/CFA with 0-4 years of work experience. - Proficiency in MS Office and financial modeling. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Good interpersonal skills. - Strong quantitative and analytical ability. - Very good understanding of financial statements. - Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively. - Capability to work under tight deadlines. - Team player with a strong work ethic and professionalism.
