Analyst - Valuation

As a member of the team of analysts at a global asset manager, your role will involve providing valuation and monitoring services for the portfolio investments of the Client. This will include initiating/maintaining financial models, preparing valuation memos, and engaging with stakeholders to facilitate informed investment decisions by the Client. You are expected to take ownership of deliverables and uphold high-quality standards with integrity. **Key Responsibilities:** - Performing valuation on a range of (illiquid) investments across various industries - Preparing and updating valuation models, detailed memos, and presentations - Independently gathering data pertinent to the investments/models - Addressing client queries in a clear and concise manner - Prioritizing and executing multiple assignments, including ad-hoc projects, within tight deadlines - Adhering to high-quality standards and industry best practices **Skills Required:** - Sound experience in valuation and financial modeling (discounted cash flows, market multiples, market transactions) (up to 2 years) - Exposure to US/European primary and secondary markets - Strong excel modeling and analytical skills - High level of attention to detail - Ability to independently execute assignments under tight deadlines - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Team player with a professional demeanor **Advantageous Skills:** - Knowledge of third-party databases such as Bloomberg, CapIQ, Thomson Reuters, etc. - Hands-on experience on VBA macros - Sector knowledge - Real Estate, Shipping, Aircraft, and Oil & Gas **Qualification Requirements:** - MBA or equivalent qualification in finance from a reputed institution - Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting or Economics & CFA (Level II completed) Kindly note that there are no additional details about the company provided in the job description.,
