Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for collaborating with a cross-functional set of stakeholders across the business to drive improvements in operational buyers' roles across the CoE. Your key responsibilities will include communicating and coordinating with schedulers for plan and execution updates, understanding material requirements, and processing requisitions to provide POs to suppliers. You will work closely with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of material to the plant, execute exception messages, monitor KPIs of internal teams, and provide plans of action to mitigate risks and stop gaps. Additionally, you will resolve internal discrepancies with operations and external issues with suppliers, work closely with logistics partners and suppliers for material delivery as per incoterms, evaluate and monitor supply performance, maintain inventory levels of materials, coordinate for RMA of defective parts, and work with Engineering, Product Managers, and CMs for phase-in/out. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with stakeholders to drive improvements in operational buyers' roles - Communicate and coordinate with schedulers for plan and execution updates - Understand material requirements and process requisitions to provide POs to suppliers - Ensure on-time delivery of material to the plant - Execute exception messages and manage internal escalations - Monitor KPIs of internal teams and provide plans of action - Resolve internal discrepancies with operations and external issues with suppliers - Work closely with logistics partners and suppliers for material delivery - Evaluate and monitor supply performance and implement corrective/preventive actions - Maintain inventory levels of materials and work with inventory analysts for optimized levels - Coordinate for RMA of defective parts and related reverse logistics - Work with Engineering, Product Managers, and CMs for phase-in/out - Maintain relevant purchasing data and other purchasing data in collaboration with teams - Utilize digital tools available for SCM for maximized efficiency - Resolve DC/Plant Put-away Issues Qualification Required: - 5-7 years of relevant experience in Materials Planning/SCM - Graduate with a Masters's degree, preferably in Materials/Production/Operations Management; Engineering Graduate preferred Additional Details of the Company: Not provided in the job description.
