As an Analyst RMG Capital & Funding at Barclays, you will leverage technology & risk expertise to assist Management in effectively understanding and managing the Risk & Capital profile of Global Markets. Your role will require a collaborative and entrepreneurial drive to partner across products, functions, and regions. You will utilize your experience in Risk to manage capital, funding, and balance sheet activities across Markets. It is critical to leverage technology to build next-gen tools to help solve business problems. **Key Responsibilities:** - Collaborate across products, functions, and regions to manage capital, funding, and balance sheet activities. - Build next-gen tools using technology to solve business problems effectively. - Engage with internal stakeholders within RMG, Sales, Trading, Product Control, Credit, Legal, Ops Control, and other teams. - Develop Dashboards in Tableau, QlikView, or similar platforms. - Utilize technical skills in Python, SQL, and Microsoft Excel. - Manage stakeholders effectively and demonstrate leadership skills. - Understand and apply regulatory frameworks within the business operations. - Work effectively as part of a large team, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines. - Stay organized with good time management skills in a highly pressurized environment. **Qualifications Required:** - Graduate or MBA from a top-tier Engineering/Business school. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Experience in Risk & Capital tools, methodologies, and Markets risk concepts. - Knowledge of derivatives, risk analytics, stress testing, and pricing models. - Strong technical skills in Python, SQL, and Microsoft Excel. - Understanding of the Regulatory Framework in which the business operates. - Ability to work effectively in a team, take on responsibility, and prioritize tasks. **Desirable Skills:** - Understanding of asset classes including Liquid Financing, Macro, and Credit. - Experience in Counterparty or Market Risk. - Progress on CFA or FRM is preferred. The role will be based out of NKP in Mumbai. In addition to the role-specific responsibilities, as an Analyst at Barclays, you are expected to maintain the smooth and efficient operation of trading desks, provide operational support to traders and sales professionals, handle administrative tasks, and provide market information and research.
