Description
As an Analyst, Sales Operations at American Express, you will play a crucial role in partnering with the U.S. Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) Sales and Account Development teams. Your responsibilities will include being a key thought partner to the U.S. SME Sales Enablement leadership team, managing cross-channel workstreams, project managing governance initiatives, and handling ad hoc requests from multiple stakeholders. You will collaborate closely with various cross-functional partners to ensure alignment and collaboration on priorities, demonstrating thought leadership, critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills. **Key Responsibilities:** - Become a SME (subject matter expert) on the U.S. SME Hierarchy design and mechanics to streamline and improve the process - Gather information and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate and timely reports - Automate repetitive reporting tasks using tools such as Excel (VBA), SQL, Power BI - Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reports month-on-month - Maintain documentation for reporting processes and metrics definition - Perform risk management to proactively identify potential problems and mitigate risks - Lead highly complex, business-critical initiatives from inception to completion and act with an agile approach - Understand U.S. SME Sales and Account Development team business objectives, priorities, and challenges to formulate solutions - Build positive relationships with US SME Sales Enablement and Sales and Account Development teams to gain consensus and support for strategic projects **Qualifications Required:** - Undergraduate/Postgraduate degree required - 2+ years of experience in reporting, business analysis, or data analytics role - Strong Proficiency in Excel (Pivot table, formulas, charts) and SQL (preferred) - Familiarity with databases, data warehousing, and data modeling concepts - Flexible for rotating shift hours (1:30 PM to 9:30 PM IST) - Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity - Strong project management skills with a record of successful results on complex, large-scale, cross-functional initiatives - Ability to build strong partnerships and work collaboratively with others - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and comfort presenting at all levels of the organization **Additional Company Details:** American Express offers benefits that support holistic well-being, including competitive base salaries, bonus incentives, support for financial well-being and retirement, comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability benefits, flexible working models, generous paid parental leave policies, free access to global on-site wellness centers staffed with healthcare professionals, free and confidential counseling support through the Healthy Minds program, and career development and training opportunities.,
