Analyst - Procurement

As an Analyst - Procurement at Flex, you will be based in Coimbatore and play a crucial role in supporting the extraordinary teams in building great products and contributing to the company's growth. **Role Overview:** Your typical day in this role will involve: - Performing administrative activities related to Purchasing. - Maintaining files, logs, records of invoices, purchase orders, and other related documentation. - Entering and maintaining information on various business systems. - Assisting in expediting orders. - Contacting vendors to obtain prices and schedule delivery dates. - Developing and maintaining resources for assigned commodity items. - Preparing standard requests for quotation. - Coordinating pricing revisions, order cancellations, delivery date revisions, and activities associated with discontinued items. - Reviewing and may recommend acceptable substitutes, and resolving invoice discrepancies. - Interfacing directly with suppliers to resolve purchasing, change order, and logistics issues. - Assisting in purchase order negotiation, placement, maintenance, and follow-up. - Reviewing standardized reports to identify issues or generate group statistics. - Conducting computer queries and research to provide component and order information. - Providing routing instructions, tracking and tracing shipments, and interfacing with carriers/freight forwarders/customs brokers. - Preparing shipping and customs documentation. - Assisting in supplier contract negotiation and development. - Helping in content preparation and participating in strategic supplier reviews. **Qualifications Required:** The experience we are looking for includes completion of secondary school, vocational training, or equivalent with experience ranging from 0-2 years in a related field.
