Role: Analyst - Investment Research Qualification: MBA Finance Relevant Experience: 2 - 4 years Location: Mumbai (Hybrid) Reporting Manager: Project Manager / VP Candidate Industry: Research & Consulting / KPO Responsibilities: - Manage a variety of projects for global financial services clients including asset managers, PE/VC funds, family offices, investment banks, and corporate M&A teams. - Deliverables encompass equity/credit research reports, financial models, business valuation, due diligence, pitch books/information memorandums, and macro/sector/markets analysis. - Engage in diverse projects covering different asset classes (equities, credit, real estate, and funds) across various geographies. - Understand client requirements, define project scope, execute projects independently, maintain regular communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle, and present deliverables effectively. Experience & Skills: - Proficiency in equity/credit/corporate finance research and analysis. - Strong analytical and communication skills to engage with clients and comprehend their needs. - Expertise in financial modeling and valuation techniques such as DCF, SOTP, IRR, trading, and transaction comparables. - Ability to conduct comprehensive analysis of companies/sectors/markets to provide valuable insights for investment decisions. - Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Personal Attributes: - Capable of meeting tight deadlines. - Comfortable working independently on unstructured projects. - Strong numerical aptitude and familiarity with statistical tools. - Fluency in foreign languages is advantageous. - Experience in research & analytics with sound knowledge of financial markets. - High adaptability and ability to give and receive feedback constructively. - Focus, alignment with objectives, and emotional resilience are key attributes.
