As an Accounting Analyst II at our Global Capability Center in Gujarat, your role will involve supporting key accounting processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial operations. Your responsibilities will include: - Financial Reporting & Analysis - Assisting in the preparation and review of financial statements and reports - Conducting financial analysis to support business decisions - Supporting timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes - Compliance & Controls - Ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards - Assisting in implementing and monitoring internal controls to safeguard company assets - Supporting internal and external audit processes - Process Improvement - Recommending process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy - Leveraging technology and automation to streamline accounting processes - Data Management - Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records - Ensuring data integrity and consistency across accounting systems - Collaboration & Support - Working closely with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives - Providing financial insights and recommendations to senior management - Assisting in managing relationships with external partners, including auditors and regulatory bodies Qualifications: - Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field - Experience: Minimum of 6-8 years of progressive and relevant accounting experience; FMCG industry experience is a plus; Prior GCC or shared services environment experience is beneficial - Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards; Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, HFM, Blackline or similar); Good communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines You will have the opportunity to shape and lead critical strategic initiatives within a global powerhouse in the food industry.
