Description
As a BOP Costing Analyst at Forvia, a sustainable mobility technology leader, your main responsibility is to establish target costs and benchmark cost recommendations for buy out parts throughout various phases such as RFQ, sourcing, and till the end of serial life phases. You will align these costs with the benchmark strategy defined at the Business Group level. Your role involves providing benchmark cost targets to Division purchasing teams, following costing tools and procedures for BOPs, calculating and reporting gaps to the benchmark on a monthly basis, ensuring accuracy of benchmark and actual data in target costing tools, and auditing suppliers" cost structures to identify gaps and support action plans to close them. Additionally, you will collaborate with commodity purchasing teams on supplier cost structure audits, exchange relevant information and analysis with the global BOP costing network for continuous improvement. To succeed in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in engineering or an Associate's degree in engineering with a specialization in Production or technical purchasing. You are expected to have a minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience in an industrial environment, including a first technical experience in areas such as production or manufacturing engineering. Basic knowledge of commodities like Pure injection, Metal Stamping, etc., technical product orientation, understanding of finance basics, strong communication skills, analytical and synthetic skills, fluency in English, global mindset, exposure to international environments, autonomy, synthesis, engagement, proactive work approach, optimistic energy, and good interpersonal skills are essential competencies for this role.
