Job Description

The main purpose of this role is to coordinate back office documentation including cargo manifests, BL drafts, custom requirements, sales and purchase invoicing, Navitrans entries, and IMO/Hazardous Cargo declarations. Additionally, maintaining customer relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and handling container import/export/cross-trade transports are key responsibilities. Key responsibilities include proactively identifying and approaching potential clients for new business acquisition in air and ocean freight, developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, researching market trends and customer needs for market expansion, building and maintaining strong client relationships, negotiating contracts to secure new business, collaborating with internal teams for smooth business execution, maintaining accurate sales records, representing the company at industry events, and contributing to strategic planning. Requirements for this role include market knowledge of the Freight Forwarding/Logistics industry, 5-7 years of experience in freight forwarding/logistics sales, good knowledge of the local market and established customer contacts, relative strength in selling Import/Export Sea Freight Cargo, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and strong analytical skills to identify market trends and develop sales strategies. Key external relationships include customers specialized in non-ferrous metals, shipping lines/agents, and customs brokers. Internal relationships involve the Commercial Manager and the Finance and Treasury team. This position reports to the General Manager.,
