The opportunity available is for the position of Analyst-National-Assurance-ASU in the Audit - Accounting department in Ahmedabad. The main purpose of Assurances is to inspire confidence and trust in order to facilitate the functioning of a complex world. This is achieved by protecting and serving the public interest, promoting transparency, supporting investor confidence and economic growth, and nurturing talent to develop future business leaders. The key responsibilities of this role include: Technical Excellence: - Delivering the highest quality in every assigned task in accordance with SRB methodology and engagement team expectations. - Demonstrating a basic understanding of an industry or sector and being aware of technical issues or assurance risks. - Executing and documenting specific review procedures as defined by the engagement teams. - Building knowledge about risk management, including understanding significant business processes, applicable regulations, and other risks specific to a client's business. - Timely identification of accounting issues, documenting facts and findings, and discussing with COE senior/Assistant Manager. - Collaborating with the COE senior and team members to set goals and responsibilities. - Contributing ideas for improvement by comparing the efficiency of review procedures across different clients. - Promoting SRB's ethical and professional standards, including data confidentiality. - Developing knowledge of the use of SRB technology and tools to continually learn, share knowledge with team members, and enhance service delivery. Skills and attributes required for this role include: Qualifications: - CA Inter with completed Articleship in Statutory Auditing. - Basic understanding of accounting and auditing concepts. - Proficiency in MS Office Excel and Outlook. - Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work in a team, multitask, be flexible, and work under pressure. Experience: - 0 to 1 year of experience in Statutory Auditing post completion of CA Articleship.
