Analyst, Accounts Payable

As part of the team, you will need to have a thorough understanding of invoice processing, reconciliation, and financial controls to ensure high data integrity and support timely financial closing. This role requires not only day-to-day execution but also proactive problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives. Your responsibilities will include reviewing, verifying, and posting purchase order (PO) and non-PO invoices, understanding and accurately passing Goods in Transit (GIT) and accrual entries, performing vendor account reconciliations, resolving discrepancies, analyzing old vendor balances, reviewing debit balances, and generating, analyzing, and clearing Goods Receipt/Invoice Receipt (GR/IR) reports. You will also be required to review the SOP periodically, recommend necessary changes, ensure timely submission and maintenance of SOX documentation, participate in standardization and continuous improvement initiatives, and respond promptly to queries from local business. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's Degree, be proficient in SAP systems, and have a solid understanding of taxation principles. Strong collaboration skills, good communication abilities, and experience in performing monthly GL analysis & review are preferred qualifications.
