AM/DM/Manager- MEP

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and technically sound MEP Manager to lead the execution of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing services across large-scale construction projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in MEP planning, design coordination, and project management for residential, commercial, or infrastructure developments.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee end-to-end MEP works (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and ELV systems) across multiple sites.

Review and approve MEP designs, layouts, shop drawings, and material submitting.

Coordinate with architects, structural and civil engineers to ensure MEP integration in line with project goals.

Prepare and monitor project schedules and execution plans for MEP services.

Handle procurement planning, vendor negotiations, and contractor management.

Ensure all systems are installed, tested, and commissioned as per codes and client requirements.

Maintain compliance with BIS, NBC, local safety codes, and international standards.

Implement value engineering and cost-effective design solutions without compromising on quality or performance.

Conduct regular site inspections, resolve technical issues, and lead project progress meetings.

Lead a team of engineers, supervisors, and contractors with a focus on timely delivery and quality.

Prepare MIS reports, project documentation, risk assessments, and handover documentation.

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge in HVAC, Electrical distribution, Plumbing, Firefighting, and ELV systems.

Ability to interpret technical drawings, BOQs, and design specifications.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, MS Project, and Excel.

Effective leadership, coordination, and team management skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in high-rise building projects, commercial complexes, or infrastructure projects.

Knowledge of Green Building concepts (LEED / IGBC standards).

Exposure to latest energy-efficient MEP technologies.

PMP or equivalent certification in project management.
