Job Summary:

The incumbent will be responsible to manage and execute all project-related activities pertaining to the Water Treatment Plant (WTP) for a 230 MW Captive Power Plant, ensuring timely completion, adherence to technical specifications, safety, cost control, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning & Execution

• Assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of WTP project works as per defined timelines.
• Coordinate with engineering consultants, OEMs, and contractors to ensure smooth execution.
• Ensure all activities are aligned with the overall CPP project schedule and commissioning plan.

1. Technical Review & Design Coordination

• Review design drawings, P&IDs, technical specifications, and datasheets related to the Water Treatment Plant (DM Plant, RO, UF, Clarifier, Softener, etc.).
• Coordinate with design and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of engineering deliverables.

1. Procurement & Vendor Management

• Assist in technical evaluation of bids and selection of vendors for WTP packages.
• Coordinate with procurement and logistics for timely delivery of equipment and materials.
• Monitor vendor progress and ensure quality compliance during manufacturing and supply.

1. Site Management

• Supervise site construction and erection activities related to the WTP including civil, mechanical, and electrical scope.
• Ensure adherence to project safety standards and statutory regulations at the site.
• Coordinate inspections, quality checks, and commissioning trials.

1. Commissioning & Handover

• Support pre-commissioning, commissioning, and performance testing of WTP systems.
• Ensure preparation and documentation for final handover to O&M team

Key Skills & Competencies:

• 7+ years of experience in project execution of Water Treatment Plants, preferably in Power / Process / Captive Utility Projects.
• Hands-on experience in DM Plant, RO Plant, ETP, STP, Clarifiers, and associated utilities.
• Experience in handling EPC contractors, engineering consultants, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Sound understanding of water chemistry and treatment technologies
• Knowledge of relevant IS/ASME/API codes and environmental regulations
• Project management and planning tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera)
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to safety, quality, and timely execution
