Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities Identify reputed cargo agents / freight forwarders/ Shippers/ manufacturers etc., Obtain the necessary approval for induction of any new customer from GM sales or the nominated person by the management. Mobilization of required cargo mainly from Chennai Indian market. Issue AWB stock to the customers only with the approval of GM sales or the nominated person by the management Focus on CIS countries destination to achieve maximum yield and revenue Focus on Special cargo to achieve maximum yield and revenue. Sell the cargo space not below the rate tariff given by the GM or the management. Optimization of revenue Circulate the invoice through accounts section to the customers on the due date and collect the due CSR amount from the customer on or before the due date. Focus on market research and advise the management on the measures to achieve max. volume optimizing the yield and revenue to the company. Achieve the targeted volume and revenue assigned by the GM sales/CFO or the management. Communicate the business issues/ customer feedback to the management. Ensure that booked cargo reaches the MIAL-CSC warehouse in time before the flight departure giving room for palletization etc. Focus on procurement of additional business volume from the market for charters if any required. Responsible for any other assignments assigned from time to time. Preferred candidate profile Graduate with evidence of above average academic and extracurricular achievement. 3-10 years of sales experience. Fluent in written and spoken English. Advance knowledge of MS Office. Confident, driven and with extensive sales experience Advanced negotiation, communication and influencing skills Digital approach Ability to achieve revenue targets and in a self-directed, fast pace environment
